The Design
There is a calm, subtle and harmonious look and feel to this sage green bespoke kitchen near Finchley, London. The cabinets fill the room creating an L-shaped run of kitchen cabinets. From the lower cabinets to the back of the kitchen holding the kitchen sink to the floor to ceiling cabinets finishing each corner off this kitchen is packed full of storage.
The kitchen is our classic Westminster style and works well with the family’s needs. The large kitchen island offers a lot of storage and the drawers allow for this to be even deeper. In addition, the space has great light which means that the light sage green colour and light work surfaces help to create a bright space at all times.

The Details: Colours, Hardware, Worktops Etc
From the larger kitchen larder to the large kitchen island this kitchen has bespoke storage solutions that packs it all away. The peg drawers make it easy to safely and easily store away plates and bowls whilst the bespoke microwave storage is incredibly practical.
The double Belfast sink makes it easy to prep, wash up and clean as you use the kitchen and the reeded glass just above the sink opens up the kitchen. The colour for the island is Similar to our Appledown Green from the Herringbone Paints Range and works well with the lovely creamy granite worktop.
“I wanted a kitchen that worked with the Edwardian character of the house and had long admired Herringbone for their craftsmanship and quality. I knew I wanted a space that worked well for us a busy family of 5 and was functional as well as beautiful - I love cooking and having family over so the kitchen has to be hardwearing!”
The gas hob on the kitchen island works well in this space to make the practicality of using the kitchen on a daily basis easy. The brass handles and fixtures look lovely against the pastel green colour of the cabinets and also work with the rest of the interior design of the house.
”Working closely with David, we decided on a large island with a hob made the space very sociable as I can keep an eye on the kids and chat to people when I am cooking. We also put in a large larder which I absolutely love and stores all our food - we get lots of admirable comments about this. I didn’t want the space to look too uniform so we have a lovely wooden shelf across the sink and also an open dresser style unit by the fridge freezer that works really well.”
