The Design
This bright open plan kitchen is designed in our Rye Style with its traditional shaker door and detailed frame it marries the traditional with the modern in a lovely way.
The one-wall kitchen is fitted along the main wall in this space with floor to ceiling cabinet units on either side of the lower run of cabinets where the kitchen sink sits just under the window. The large kitchen island holds a lot of storage and offers seating for a social space at any time of the day.
The Details: Colours, Hardware, Worktops Etc
The floor to ceiling cabinets hide away the fridge, freezer and pantry larder and is a combination of traditional doors and bi-fold doors to keep the kitchen functional.
The drawers on the kitchen island are deep to safely and easily store away plates and bowls. The island also holds the Bora hob with the kitchen sink right behind it giving the kitchen a smooth practical flow. The cabinets are all hung with polished brass hinges to fit into the rest of the design as the handles are also brass.
The worktop which flows throughout the kitchen is a low-silica Quartz Calacatta Gold option. The worktop is matched with a Studio Grey colour on the main run of cabinets and an Appledown Green colour for the kitchen island and the home bar. Both colours are from our Herringbone Paints range, the colours and worktop make this space feel bright and airy.

The Home Bar & Dresser
The bespoke dresser doubles up as a home bar and a dresser perfectly situated on the wall in between the kitchen and the dining room. It is painted in Herringbone Paints’ Appledown Green and the cold shelf Quartz worktop is continued from the kitchen island together with the brass handles and brackets.
The mirror splashback is antique bronze whilst the cabinet bi-fold doors are fitted with reeded glass. The unit is continued in our Rye Style to make the space flow nicely.
